LOOKING forward to an exciting announced by Big Bash League team Melbourne Renegades at the Eastern Oval this morning when they will release details of an extended community camp in Ballarat later this year.
The Big Bash starts on Friday, December 20.
PUISSANCE DE LUNE X-RAYS TODAY
PUISSANCE De Lune will have x-rays today after pulling up lame after the Cox Plate at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
They will determine whether the Darren Weir-trained grey returns to racing in the autumn for a possible tilt at the Australian Cup or is retired to stud.
Puissance De Lune, which was the Melbourne Cup favourite leading into the spring, beat home only a couple of runners in the Cox Plate.
YOUNGSTER GET INTO TRAINING
CENTRAL Highlands cricket region under-14 boys’ squad began its training program last night.
The squad will play a practice match against Barwon at Geelong on Sunday.
Training will continue until a final practice match against Western and then line up in the Victorian Bushrangers state championships on January 20-24.
