The Combined proved too strong for VRI Delacombe and Darley in the final rounds' pool A matches on Sunday while the Mounties captured wins against Golden Point and Wendouree in pool B.
Ladder rankings, however, are based on combined pool A and pool B results.
Golden Point and district club Ballan join the Combine and Mounties in this Sunday's semi-finals.
The Pointies and Ballan were the only teams in the 12-club competition to have posted three wins from four bouts.
Anthony Taylor was the stand-out Combine batsman in the final two rounds. Taylor belted 102 runs off 67 balls to steer his team to victory against Darley. This was after Taylor reached 73 runs against VRI Delacombe in the morning round.
The Mounties' unbeaten campaign in the preliminary rounds was led by skipper Nathan Yates, who unleashed 55 runs off 25 balls (4 fours and 5 sixes) in a stint lasting just 27 minutes at the crease against Golden Point at White Flat.
But it was Mountie Matt Ward who was the headline act in game two with an unbeaten 102 runs against Wendouree.
