The stayer resumes in the group 3 $160,000 Bletchingly Stakes, 1200m.
Previously trained by Darren Weir, Cliff's Edge has not raced since finishing sixth in the group 1 Cantala Stakes, 1600m, at Flemington on November 3.
The four-year-old took out the group 2 $200,000 Crystal Mile at Moonee Valley at his previous outing.
Maher and Eustace trialed Cliff's Edge at St Arnaud on July 3.
Cliff's Edge has won eight of 22 starts for $1.053m in stakes.
John Allen returns from an suspension-enforced break to ride Cliff's Edge.
Allen has ridden the son of Canford Cliffs 13 times for six wins.
This is Allen's first race ride since mid-June and his only mount for the day.
Allen is set to finish in the Victorian jockeys' premiership, with the season coming to an end on Wednesday.
He is on 111 wins - 26 behind Linda Meech. Jye McNeil is third on 107.
Maher and Eustace will officially finish second in the state trainers' premiership race.
With the disqualified Darren Weir ruled ineligible, his 243 wins do not count in the final outcome.
David and Ben Hayes, and Tom Dabernig will be crowned.
They are on 221, with Maher and Eustace on 155.

Hometown trainer Thomas Carberry will finish his first full season in training ranks with three starters.
Lady Solly is having her first outing for his stable in the Hygain Winners Choice Benchmark58 Handicap, 1000.
She was previously prepared by Erin Maher at Bendigo and is first-up since March.
Carberry also has Rocky Racoon in the Polytrack Benchmark58 Handicap, 1500m, and debutant Johandough in the Hewitt and Whitty 2yo Maiden, 1400m.
JOCKEY Ben Melham celebrated the birth of his third child by guiding Ghodeleine to victory at Sandown ON Wednesday.
Daughter Piper was born on Tuesday and Melham reported he was taking advantage of a few good night's sleep before starting a holiday courtesy of a suspension in Singapore on Sunday.
"I've been getting a bit of sleep, but things are about to get a little bit hectic, especially as I start a holiday," said Melham, who is originally from Ballarat.
