More than 43 tenpin bowlers from across Victoria will converge on Ballarat to compete in the annual event.
Ballarat Special Olympics Chair Michelle Graffeo said the team had been working extremely hard in preparation for the event.
"It's a good number of bowlers, and we are really happy with the number of registrations we've received so far," she said.
"It's going to be a big day, and we've got MP Juliana Addison coming to hand out ribbons at the end of the event which is exciting."
The Ballarat team will enter the contest in good form following a stellar showing at the state games where team walked away with two placings.
They are practicing hard and doing really well and are eager to do their best on the day.

Graffeo said the event will provide an opportunity for competitors to compete in, and enjoy a sport they are passionate about.
"It's all about, just getting out there, getting involved in sports because for a lot of our athletes that can be difficult," she said.
The event will take place at Oz Tenpin Ballarat from 9.30am.
